A grand opening ceremony was held Friday for a new veterans center on the Grand Strand.
The Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center is on Stella Drive in Little River.
The center was former so any veteran from any branch and era could access all available resources and services, such as veteran benefits, job placement and counseling.
It was paid for through federal and state grants, veteran and civic organizations, corporations and private donations.
