The library sells used books year round in a designated area of the Marion County libraries, and this Saturday, there will be a Used Book Sale in front of the library during the morning of the Foxtrot Festival in Marion. The sale will be from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Look for the bright blue tent. The books offered mostly will be books that have been donated to us and are duplicates of what we already have in our collection.
The books are in great condition and the prices will be good deals. The fact that we have no room in our libraries for several copies of the same book brings us to the second reason for you to stop by the blue library tent during the Foxtrot Festival. Interest in forming a Friends of the Library group has been expressed, so we would like for you to come by give us your contact information so you can become part of the new Friends effort.
Come by and get some information on the Library’s expansion project and find out how you can help us in our efforts to grow and serve you more effectively. In the event rainy weather, come inside and look for our set-up in the periodical area to the right of the entrance steps. We look forward to seeing you on May 16.
