One person died and another was injured after a van collided with a motorcycle in Horry County Thursday afternoon.
According to L/Cpl Sonny Collins with the SC Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 4:30 p.m. on Hwy 545, about 4 miles south of Loris.
Collins said the driver of a van turned in front of a motorcycle carrying two people.
The passenger on the bike died. The driver was airlifted to a hospital in North Carolina.
Collins said the driver of the van, TIna Strawhorn of Conway, was charged with Failure to Yield Right of Way.
Collins said she was not injured.
