A Sumter man died in a Darlington County traffic accident Friday morning, Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee said in a press release.
Isaiah Joe, 50, died when he lost control of his vehicle and flipped it in the yard of a residence on U.S. 15 just outside Hartsville about 5 a.m., Hardee said.
Hardee pronounced Joe dead at the scene of the crash, which is under investigation by the S.C. Highway Patrol.
No one else was inside the vehicle when the accident happened, Hardee said.
