The S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control will hold two availability sessions Thursday to update residents of Myrtle Beach on current activities of the groundwater investigation at the AVX Corporation site.
According to a press release, the sessions will be held at Myrtle Beach Fire Department Station #3, located at 2018 South Kings Highway (U.S. 17) in Myrtle Beach.
The first session will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. while the evening session will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
DHEC staff will be on hand to answer residents questions about the ongoing investigation at the AVX site.
