Georgetown County Sheriff's department investigates drinking incident at Carver's Bay High School

The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is investigating a drinking incident that happened at Carvers Bay High School.

According to an incident report, a 16-year-old female was taken to the hospital, during a party at Carvers Bay High School earlier this month.

Doctors at Georgetown Memorial Hospital diagnosed the teen with alcohol intoxication.

The teen told authorities it felt like more than just alcohol was involved.

The teen also told authorities she did not know who gave her the drink.

The party was some type of Sorority dance that was supposed to be drug and alcohol free.

This incident remains under investigation.
