MYRTLE BEACH - The 2009 South Carolina Emergency Management/Hurricane Conference is set to get underway Tuesday at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
Governor Mark Sanford and Major General Stan Spears, the Adjutant General of South Carolina, will address the conference during its opening day luncheon.
Sessions during the conference that runs through Thursday include:
-Federal Interface During Disasters
-Hurricane Ike: Texas Lessons Learned
-Drought and Global Warming
-Hugo Remembered
