A Dillon County man is being treated for life-threatening injuries after he was found severely beaten in his home Thursday, Dillon County Sheriff Major Hulon said.
The 55-year-old man was discovered unconscious just before 9 a.m. by a visitor to his home at the B&R Mobile Home Lot on S.C. 9 near Little Rock.
Investigators said the man suffered head lacerations and abrasions on his body. He was taken to a Florence hospital where he remains for treatment.
The incident remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office and State Law Enforcement Division, Hulon said.
