The Blue Star Mothers of Coastal Carolina are colleting items for "Hero Boxes" to send to troops serving overseas.
Some of the items they are collecting are:
-Gatorade (powder form)
-Drink mix
-Trail mix
-Tuna, Chicken (foil packs)
-Crackers (small packages)
-Beef Jerky
-Granola/Power bars
-Dried fruit
-Baby wipes
-Toothbrush/toothpaste
-Deodorant
-Hand Sanitizer
-Disposable razors
-Chap stick/lip balm
-Lotion (trial size)
-Sports bras (grey or white)
-Games and puzzles (travel size)
-Prepaid phone cards
-Cross word puzzle books
-Small flashlight
-Batteries (AA)
-Socks
-Aspirin/Tylenol
-Playing cards
-Cup O Soup/Ramen Noodles
-Microwave rice/pasta
-Microwave cake mixes
-Picture books
-Frisbees
-Dominoes
The items can be dropped off Friday, March 20th (12pm-6pm) and Saturday March 21st: (10am-4pm) at the Kroger in Carolina Forrest and the Kroger on 17 Business in Garden City.
Monday, March 23rd (6pm-8pm) at the Forestbrook Clubhouse in Myrtle Beach.
