An accident on Highway 501 backed up traffic for about 30 minutes in Horry County Friday evening.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, two vehicles were traveling North on Highway 501 near Tobacco Road.

An unknown vehicle traveling in the left lane veered over to the right lane and struck a pick-up truck.

The pick-up truck then hit a light pole and caused power lines to fall from light poles.

A vehicle traveling south ran across the power.

No one involved in this accident was hurt.

Highway 501 is now reopened for traffic.
