The Florence County Master Gardeners are presenting their 10th annual Home and Garden Workshops at the Clemson Pee Dee Research and Education Center, 2200 Pocket Road, Florence.
Keynote speaker will be Pat Stone, contributing author to "Chicken Soup for the Gardener's Soul and publisher of Greenprints "The Weeder's Digest." Following a lunch break, participants can choose three of six breakout classes on a wide range of subjects to enhance their gardening knowledge.
Rounding out the day is a question and answer session with all of the day's speakers. In conjunction with the workshops, there will be a day-long plant sale, as well as gardens to tour for participants. Admission for the event is $35 in advance and $40 at the door.
