Dillon County homicide victim identified

A man who was killed early Friday morning in Dillon County has been identified.

The body of Glenn McCollom, 58, of Rowland, N.C., was found when EMS personnel and S.C. Highway Patrol troopers responded to a vehicle in a ditch, Dillon County Sheriff’s Sgt. Cliff Arnette said.

It appears he was killed after midnight at Buttonwood Drive and Red Road in Hamer.

Investigators are pursuing leads in the case but no arrest has been made, Arnette said.
