After a fire destroyed most of two buildings at Garden City Baptist Church early Sunday morning, its congregation is temporarily calling a new church home.
St. Michael's Catholic Church in Garden City is opening its doors to help GCBC members. GCBC members will meet in the gym at St. Michael's through at least Aug. 9.
They will continue having all of their scheduled Sunday and Wednesday activities at the new location.
Garden City Baptist plans on rebuilding a new church on its current site as soon as possible.
