Mullins police search for robbery suspects

Mullins police are searching for two suspects who robbed a convenience store along U.S. 76 early Wednesday morning.

Two black men armed with handguns stormed into the Sav-Way store on 406 W. McIntyre St. at 3:57 a.m., Chief Kenneth Davis said.

Two clerks and a few patrons were inside the store at the time when the men stole money and cigarettes, Davis said

No one was hurt during the incident, he said.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the police department at (843) 464-0707 or the state Crime Stoppers hotline at (888) CRIME SC (274-6372). Callers need not reveal their identities.
