Funeral services for Glenn Race Stratton, 36, will be held at 1 p.m. today, June 19, 2009, at Soul’s Harbor Ministries. The Rev. Wayne Windham will officiate with burial
in Cyde Church of

Mr. Stratton died Monday, June 15. Born in Darlington County, he was a son of Alan Doyle and Brenda Dixon Stratton. He was very talented in his musical abilities. He loved the outdoors, NASCAR and sports of all kinds.
Surviving are his father and mother of Hartsville; brother, Brett Tedlea Stratton of Hartsville; maternal grandmother, Melvin Lou Dixon of Darlington; uncles, Jimmy Dixon of Rock Hill, Tony Dixon of Darlington, James E. (Rebecca) Stratton of Florence; aunts, Johnnie Lou Miller of Darlington, Jean Stratton of Hartsville; numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James E. Stratton Sr. and Nellie Stratton, and his maternal grandfather, W. L. Dixon.
