New Wal-Mart offers new design, convenience for Horry County shoppers

A brand new Wal-Mart off Highway 501 opened its doors today, just off Burning Ridge Road.

That's in-between Carolina Forest and Coastal Carolina University.

Managers say this Wal-Mart will better serve that area of Horry County.

Wal-Mart says it hopes to attract people with a new design, with a more open floorplan and hardwood floors.
