The Darlington County Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force arrested two people after a Monday morning drug raid.
It happened at a residence at 1874 Weaver St. near Lamar, according to a Darlington County Sheriff’s Office press release.
The officers seized about $1,300 in cash, more than 8 grams of crack cocaine, more than 6 grams of powered cocaine, more than 24 grams of marijuana, a 9mm semi-automatic handgun, and a .22-caliber revolver, Sheriff Wayne Byrd said in the release.
Loranzo Lashan Zimmerman, 33, and Jacqueline Cassandra Waiters, 36, were arrested at the scene. Each is charged with distribution of crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and poseession of marijuan with intent to distribute. Both are in custody at the Darlington County Detention Center awaiting bond hearings.
