Dr. Joe Griffin of Advanced Dental Center in Florence, has been elected chairman of the Florence County Republican Party.
Glynn Willis, past chairman of the Florence County Planning Commission, also was elected as the group’s first vice chairman.
After the elections, which took place June 7, the group participated in a training session.
Beginning in July, the group will meet the fourth Thursday of each month.
