Cody J. Cribb is the winner of the 2009 Renaissance Journey at Marion County Technical Education Center.

The prize was a 1997 Mercury Sable. Cribb, a member of the Mullins High School Class of 2009 and a graduate of the MCTEC Auto Collision Repair Technology program, was the winner of the vehicle after a drawing.

The Renaissance Journey is an incentive program at the school, designed to encourage MCTEC students to do their best with grades, attendance, behavior and teamwork. Students accumulate Renaissance Points during the year for their successful school performance. These points convert to chances in a drawing for a car at the end of the school year.

The vehicle was donated to MCTEC and then repaired and refurbished by the Auto Technology and Auto Collision Repair classes. This year’s car was donated to MCTEC by Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Crandall.
