One dies in Loris crash

Two cars sit off the road at the intersection of SC 9 Bypass and State Road 66 outside Loris Friday morning.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash in Northern Horry County Friday morning.

According to the highway patrol's website, the crash happened around 10:30 a.m. on Hwy 9 Bypass and State Road 66 outside Loris.

Horry County Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick says 55 year old Joseph Klus died in the wreck.
