A Timmonsville man reported missing by his family has been found safe in North Carolina, according to his family.
Thirty-three-year-old Recarlo Demaine Dukes was last seen May 26 when he left work at Ruby Tuesday at U.S. 52 and Interstate 95 in Florence. He hadn’t been seen or heard from since that night.
Dukes’ mother, Barbara Ann Dukes Jones, said a law enforcement officer spotted her son’s car at a motel in Greenville, N.C.
She said her son told her he just “needed a break” and was stressed.
Family members said Dukes last spoke with fellow employees at the restaurant the night he went missing. Those employees said Dukes told them he was leaving the restaurant and heading home.
Jones said she also spoke with her son the afternoon of May 26. He also told her he would soon be heading home.
