A Marion man died Wednesday in a car crash after he drove his vehicle in front of a log truck, Marion County Coroner Jerry Richardson said.
Leon Len Graves, 53, of Louise Miles Road died about 8:30 p.m., Richardson said.
The crashed happened at 8:28 p.m. when Graves was traveling north on U.S. 501 in a 2001 Pontiac, S.C. Highway Patrol reports show
Graves was making a left turn when was struck by a 1997 Freightliner truck traveling north on U.S. 501. He was killed instantly, Richardson said.
The crash remains under investigation by the highway patrol.
