Two Latta men have been arrested in connection with a shooting that left a man injured Wednesday, Dillon County Sheriff’s Capt. Cliff Arnette said.
Antron McRae, 22, is charged with assault and battery with intent to kill, while Donnie Lee Monre Jr., 25, is charged with accessory after the fact of a felony.
The shooting happened about 7:30 p.m. at Latta Arms Apartments where a man in his early 20s was shot as he was standing outside, Arnette said.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment..
Investigators aren’t sure of the motive for the shooting, which remains under investigation, the captain said.
