Beginning the evening of Sunday, July 26, construction will begin extending turn lanes on Carolina Forest Boulevard.
Road construction on Carolina Forest Boulevard, between Gateway Drive and US Highway 501, will be performed at night, from Sunday through Thursday.
Carolina Forest Boulevard will be open to traffic at ALL times, but there will be intermittent nighttime (7p.m. to 6 a.m.) single lane closures throughout the duration of the project.
Weather permitting; the project will take three to four weeks to complete.
The project will include the extension of the left-turn lane on Carolina Forest Boulevard at US Highway 501 along with roadway repair and resurfacing of Carolina Forest Boulevard, between Gateway Drive and US Highway 501.
Cost of the project is approximately $40,000.
Citizens will see message boards on Carolina Forest Boulevard, notifying them of the planned road work and the intermittent single-lane closures.
