A Conway man was arrested for stabbing his father in the back of the neck while watching television.
According to a press release, Thomas Rafer Jones, 46, is charged with assault and battery with intent to kill after police said he got into a fight with his father Friday night in a home off Boxwood Lane near Conway.
When police arrived around 7:30 p.m., they found the father struggling with Jones, who had a knife in his hand.
The victim reported that he was watching television when he felt something from behind him go across his neck.
He got up and realized that he had been cut by his son.
The victim was taken to Conway Hospital where he was treated and released.
