The Farmers Market Association is teaming up with Conway Main Street USA to present “Show Us Your Produce”.
In a press release from Conway Main Street, market shoppers are encouraged to shop downtown Conway after the Farmers Market and look for merchants displaying the “Show Us Your Produce” sign.
Participating shops invite visitors to, “Show us your tomatoes, strawberries, pumpkins, etc. from the Conway Farmers Market and take advantage of our special in-store offers.”
Offers vary by store and change weekly, but might include promotions such as Market Day Coupons, Lunch Specials, Buy One Get One, Produce Bucks, Extra Punches on a Frequent Shopper Card and Enter to Win Drawings.
The Conway Farmers Market opened June 6 with crowds of shoppers and a great variety of produce and artisans.
Since the grand opening, Conway Main Street representatives say things haven’t slow down a bit, and the market has grown significantly in the past six weeks.
A collaboration between the Clemson Extension Service, The City of Conway, The Conway Chamber of Commerce, Conway Main Street USA and local farmers, the Conway Farmers Market offers a large selection of fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers, landscape plants as well as work by local artisans including: wooden vessels, soaps, jewelry, fragrances, cypress garden structures, iron work and original artwork.
