Hundreds of boaters were on the water for the 26th annual Murrells Inlet boat parade.

The boats were decorated with American flags and lots of red, white, and blue.

A crowd of 3,000 people came out to watch the boaters as they rode by.

There was also live music throughout the day on the marsh walk.

Spud's manager Seth Williams says the big crowds are good for Murrells Inlet businesses.

“It'll help because the tourists are here, finally, and it'll go good for that. You know, probably our busiest day of the year, bar none,” Williams said.

The Fourth of July celebration on the marsh walk ended with fireworks on the inlet.
