Sanford, like most of us, has done things that he is not proud of. He has been able to keep his personal problems out of his business. He has been a very good governor. I think he has been a far better governor than any one that ran against him would have been.
We elected a governor who is supposed to run the state business, which he has done very well. We hoped that his morals would have been above having an affair.
Let us feel sorry for him, if we chose to, but expect him to do his job as governor. He has shown that he has the ability to do that.
I realize that the news media is proud to have something to write about, even if it is to destroy a very fine governor.
