After passing a moratorium two weeks ago on all tree cutting, trimming, and pruning, Surfside Beach town council decided at Monday’s meeting to give the trees a workshop.
Town clerk Sharon Pinnell told News13 in an email that “Surfside Beach town council passed the first reading of the tree ordinance with an agreement that a workshop would be set up prior to the second reading to discuss some of the details written in the original version.”
The second reading is scheduled for February 10, 2009 and the workshop will be announced prior to that date.
