Horry County Fire Rescue officials say two cars were involved in an accident that took place at the intersection of Highway 9 and Liberty Church Rd.
It happened at about 11:30 Saturday morning.
Firefighters say one person was airlifted to the New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, while 3 others were transported to an area hospital.
South Carolina Highway Patrol Officials say nobody died as a result of the crash.
