South Strand Republicans to host legislative breakfast

The South Strand Republican Club’s annual legislative breakfast will be held at The Inlet Affairs Banquet & Catering at 4031 Hwy. 17 Business in Murrells Inlet on Saturday, January 31, at 8:30 AM.

According to a news release, the group has invited local state lawmakers, as well as representatives of Horry County Council, and the Horry County School Board to attend the meeting. The discussion will center on pending; drafted; or proposed bills up for a vote or awaiting committee action.

According to the release, the breakfast will also include a question and answer session, in which the public can ask questions, discuss pending, or proposed legislation, as well recommend or suggest the drafting of bills for possible consideration by our state or county lawmakers.
