A Salters woman died in an accident early Saturday morning.
According to the Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 5 a.m. Saturday, on Highway 521 in Williamsburg County.
Williamsburg County Coroner Harrison McKnight says 57-year-old Martha Niles lost control of her vehicle and died in the wreck.
McKnight says her passenger, Henry Collins, was injured and taken to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
The Highway Patrol says Niles was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
