A suspect in a Dec. 18 shooting was arrested again Monday after police said he fired a gun near a home on Gladstone Street on Christmas Day, Florence Police Maj. Carlos Raines said.
Jerami Tyrone Alexander, 27, of 1217 Dixie St. is charged with discharging firearms into a dwelling, Florence County Detention Center bookings reports show.
Police said the suspect was at a friend’s house talking with a group of people when he fired the weapon and drove away. No injuries were reported.
Alexander is a suspect in a Dec. 18 incident where a man was shot three times on Ingram Street. The victim underwent surgery and is expected to survive his injuries. Alexander is charged with assault and battery with intent to kill in connection with that case.
He was released Monday from the jail in Effingham. Bond information wasn’t available.
