MYRTLE BEACH - The Coastal South Carolina Chapter of the American Red Cross kicks off its Heroes for the ARC Campaign later today, with its 2nd Annual Celebrity Waiter Luncheon.
The event is being held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville in Myrtle Beach.
According to a news release, Coastal Carolina Head Football Coach David Bennett will lead a team of celebrity waiters, including personalities from News 13.
Among the items up for bidding during a live auction, a Jimmy Buffet concert package, including two tickets to any Buffet concert, a frozen concoction maker and a $50 gift certificate to eat at the local Margaritaville.
A second live auction package includes an in home performance by Alabama Theater’s Greg Rowles and band and dinner by Jimmy’s Japanese Habachi for up to 20 people.
General seating at today’s event is $50 per person and includes lunch and soft drinks.
A cash bar will also be available.
