One person died in Marlboro County Tuesday night after a colliding with an 18 wheeler.
The SC Highway Patrol reports the crash happened around 6:15 p.m. near Bennettsville when a Mazda van and an 18 wheeler crashed.
According to the SCHP, the driver of the van, a 22 year-old Bennettsville woman ran a stop sign on Brickyard Road and struck the 18 wheeler traveling on Willamette Road.
Troopers say the driver of the van died. She was not wearing a seatbelt.
