AYNOR - Westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 501 between Conway and Aynor were re-opened Tuesday morning following a motor vehicle accident with entrapment Tuesday morning.
Todd Cartner with Horry County Fire and Rescue says emergency crews had to close the westbound lanes for a short time as they worked to free a crash victim trapped inside a vehicle.
A medical helicopter transported the victim to New Hanover Regional Medical Center for treatment.
