TIMMONSVILLE -- One person is dead after a single-car crash in Florence County Friday afternoon.
Florence County Assistant Coroner, Don Reynolds identifies the victim as John R. Fruit, 43 of Timmonsville.
According to Cpl. Paul Brouthers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident happened on South Hill Road approximately three miles outside of Timmonsville.
Brouthers said Fruit ran off the right side of the road and over corrected. Then Fruit ran off the left side of the road and the car overturned.
No one else was involved in the wreck.
