The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating an early morning crash in Horry County that left one person dead.
According to the SCHP website, the crash happened around 3:20 a.m. Monday on Antioch Rd., just off Hwy 378 outside Conway.
Troopers said an SUV traveling south on Anitoch Rd. ran off the road and struck a tree.
Horry County Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick said the driver, 22 year old William Johnston Cannon of Conway, died at the scene.
