A Florence man was arrested Tuesday and charged with second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, Florence County Detention Center booking reports show.
James Nesbitt, 33, of 936 Farm Quarter Road, is accused of “exhibiting, receiving, selling, purchasing, exchanging or soliciting materials that contain visual representation of minors engaged in sexual activity,” according to an arrest warrant released Wednesday by the State Law Enforcement Division, the agency that investigated the case.
The crime happened July 30 at the suspect’s house, according to the warrant.
Nesbitt remains in custody at the jailin Effingham awaiting a bond hearing.
