Carolyn Wilson was sworn in as a Mullins City Council member at Tuesday’s monthly meeting.
Wilson will be representing the Sixth Mullins District.
“It’s exciting and I know there is a lot to learn. I am looking forward to helping the people of Mullins,” Wilson said.
Wilson is currently the Parenting Center Director for Marion County School District Two. She said she enjoys working with the public and families, as this is something she has done all of her life.
“My goal is to be a support to the mayor and other council members and to find out the needs of the district.”
“Mullins is in a place where it is currently growing and it is good to be a part of that process,” Wilson said.
