The judge leaves for the weekend and could return Monday morning. If the inmate gets out at 1 p.m. Monday, the register indicates a total of five days. The next year’s budget is based on the booking dates and releases.
If motels operated on this type of pay scale, it would be a trillion-dollar industry. We wouldn’t care about the service; all we want is you checking in before noon and checking out after 12:00 O’ clock.
