25th Annual Missions Bazaar: 8 a.m. Saturday at Family Life Building at First Baptist Church. W.C. Morris will be cooking chicken bog to be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are $6 and are limited. Info: (843) 332-6571.

Together for Christmas: A Worship Experience for the Community of Faith: 6 p.m. Sunday at West Hartsville Baptist Church. One-time performance.

Children’s Musical: 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Luke United Methodist Church, 302 Dunlap Drive. The elementary choir, Joy 4 U, is presenting “A Christmas Family Tree.” Directed by the Rev. Margaret Vance, minister of music. Refreshments will be served afterwards.

Christmas Concert: 7 p.m. Dec. 13 at Darlington Presbyterian Church in the church sanctuary. “When a Child is Born” will be preformed along with choral and hand bell music celebrating the Nativity of Jesus. A nursery will be provided, and a reception will be held after the concert.

Adult Christmas Cantata: 5 p.m. Dec. 13 at Prospect United Methodist Church, 740 Prospect Church Road.

Dispelling Myths and Finding Hope in the Bible’s Most Difficult Book: 11 a.m. to noon and 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Dec. 15. Pastor Phil Thrailkill of St. Luke United Methodist will teach 16 sessions. The teaching method used will be a scripture sheet laying out the structure of the passage, followed by a lecture on the history, rhetoric and theological insights of the text. Angel Food Ministries: Food boxes are designed to feed a family of four for about $30. There is no application to fill out. To place an order, stop by the Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1410 Bobo Newsom Highway, or call at the appointed times. John Wesley United Methodist Church Food Bank: In need of canned goods and other non-perishable items to help feed the needy in Lee and Darlington counties. Open Prayer: Noon to 2 p.m. Wednesdays at the Wesley United Methodist Church sanctuary, corner of College Avenue and Fourth Street. All are welcome to come in and pray. This is a time of personal prayer; no program is planned. The community is invited to just come and sit or kneel at the altar and open their hearts to God.

Chapel Hill Baptist Church Services: 10 a.m. Sunday school, 11 a.m. Sunday worship, 6 p.m. Sunday evening services and 7 p.m. Wednesday Bible study. All services are at 1569 Ruby Road. The public is invited to join any and all of these services. The Rev. Wayne Cottle is pastor.

Young Professionals Sunday School Class: 9:15 a.m. Sundays at First Baptist Church, 104 E. Home Ave., across from Sonic. Worship service follows at 10:30 a.m. join them to learn about God’s word and will for our lives, for fellowship and fun.

Wesley United Methodist Services: 8:30 a.m. Sunday early morning worship services, 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning worship service and 6 p.m. UMYF for all area youth at Wesley United Methodist at the corner of College Avenue and Fourth Street. The Rev. Terry Martin is pastor.
