Florence library to host free computer workshops

Free computer workshops will be offered in the Dunlap-Hopkins Technology Training Room on the second floor of the Drs. Bruce & Lee Foundation Library.

Each workshop is about 90 minutes long and isn’t part of a series.

Computer Basics: The Mouse will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday and Oct. 28 and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 28 and Oct. 5.

Computer Basics: The Keyboard will begin at 10 a.m. Sept. 9 and Oct. 7 and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 28.

Internet Basics will begin at 10 a.m. Sept. 16 and Oct. 14 and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 14 and Oct. 12.

Word Basics will begin at 10 a.m. Sept. 23 and Oct. 21 and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 21 and Oct. 19.

Excel Basics will begin at 10 a.m. Sept. 30 and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 1 and 29.

Registration is required. The library is at 519 S. Dargan St., Florence.
