A North Carolina man was arrested last week after police said he fired shots inside a room with his wife and kids inside.
According to a press release, Horry County Police officers arrested Chad Cameron Caldwell, 37, from Fleming, NC, Aug. 24th at a condominium on Queens Way Blvd near Myrtle Beach.
Caldwell's wife and children said he had been drinking, and had begun shooting a pistol into the condo unit.
No one was injured in the incident.
Officers made contact with Caldwell in the foyer of the 15th floor of the building, where he was taken into custody after a brief struggle.
Caldwell is charged with unlawful neglect of a child (2 counts), criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, and malicious damage to personal property over $1,000 but less than $5,000.
He is currently out on bond.
