CONWAY – Search teams have located the body of the missing Conway man.
Bruce Cretara, 51, was found around 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon in a wooded area about 400 yards from his home off the Pee Dee Hwy.
Cretara was last seen at approximately 8:30 am Tuesday at his 1705 Pee Dee Highway residence sleeping, according to an Horry County Police Department release.
“When Mr. Cretara’s family realized he was no longer at home, they grew concerned because of his extensive medical conditions, and notified law enforcement,” according to the release.
Searchers were joined by the department’s bloodhound team Tuesday evening and search for about five hours, according to the release.
Police continue to investigate his death.
