One person was transported to a local hospital after a Friday car accident between Coward and Scranton.
South Lynches Fire Department Public Information Officer Debbie Altman said a vehicle was leaving the parking lot of Sparrow & Kennedy Tractor Company, at 2712 U.S. 52, when the vehicle struck a car that was headed north around noon.
Altman said one person was transported by Florence County EMS with injuries that weren’t life threatening.
Coward Police Chief Kevin J. Miller responded to the accident as well as an officer from Scranton Police Department.
