The Surfside Beach Dixie Youth baseball champions arrived home from Mississippi with a police escort and a large crowd to welcome them at the townhall complex.
The Surfside All Stars won the Dixie Youth championship by beating a team from North Carolina on Thursday.
Close to 100 people were on hand to greet the team as they arrived.
The players, wearing championship t-shirts, stood on a podium in front of the crowd and also signed autographs.
"Well it was just like a once in a lifetime opportunity for everyone. I mean, I doubt this will ever happen in Surfside history again.," said Cole Gulledge, the team's centerfielder.
