A Hartsville woman died several days after an accident that took place in Darlington County.
Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee said 72-year-old Shirley Diggs died Friday from injuries she sustained in an accident.
The accident happened at about 3 p.m. on August 10th, at the intersection of Highway 151 and Kelleytown Road near Hartsville.
Sources tell News13 that Diggs was transferred to a Columbia hospital following the accident.
Hardee said the injuries from the wreck were so severe however, that Diggs passed away on Friday.
