Marion County School Districts are gearing up for the new school year.
Marion School District 2 is ready for back-to-school activities.
Mullins High School will have registration for the coming school year on Monday, Aug. 3 and Tuesday, Aug. 4 in the Media Center.
Seniors will register on Aug. 3 from 8:30 a.m. until noon and juniors will register from 1 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.
On Aug. 4, sophomores will register from 8:30 a.m. until noon and freshmen will visit from 1 pm until 4:30 p.m. Freshmen Orientation and Open House will be on Aug. 12 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
On Aug. 7 the school will have its “Meet the Coaches” night from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Students return to school on Aug. 17.
Marion School District 1 prepares for new school year as well.
All schools in Marion District 1 will have pre-registration for the 2009-10 school year on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
This pre-registration opportunity is designed to give student, parents, and guardians the opportunity to pay fees and receive student schedules in advance of normal open house activities.
Schedules will be given to those who pay the appropriate fees.
Marion High School’s pre-registration is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Johnakin Middle School will host pre-registration activities from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Easterling Primary and Marion Intermediate Schools will have pre-registration from noon until 6 p.m.

Marion School District 7 anticipates return to classes.
Marion School District 7 schools will be holding student registration at Creek Bridge High School starting 8:15 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Seniors and juniors will register on Aug. 4.
Sophomores and freshmen will register on Aug. 5.
All new students will register on Aug. 6.
Britton's Neck Elementary will begin student registrations on July 27, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Rains Centenary Early Childhood Center will also begin student registrations on July 27, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
