Red Cross, Southern Baptists continue feeding

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Coastal South Carolina Chapter of the American Red Cross in cooperation with the Southern Baptists Disaster Relief Team will provide breakfast this morning around 8:15 at the Red Cross response site located at the House of Blues for anyone evacuated from their homes due to the wild fire.

In addition, Red Cross volunteers continue to deliver meals to first responders.

A Red Cross shelter remains open at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, 2105 E Highway 501, Conway. The Red Cross shelter at the North Myrtle Beach Aquatics and Fitness Center, 1100 2nd Ave S, North Myrtle Beach, is closed.‎

Pets are not allowed in Red Cross shelters, but a shelter opened by Barefoot Community Church, 701 Main Street, North Myrtle Beach, has accepted evacuees with pets. Additionally, pets can be brought to the following locations:
